Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

ATA Consulting, Inc., doing business as ATA Risk Advisors (“ATA,” “we,” “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.atariskadvisors.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form on the Site, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, title, work email, phone number, organization, industry, the services you are interested in, preferred times for a call, and your message. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you email us, we receive the contents of your message and your contact details.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site collects limited technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies provided by our website platform. See the Cookies section below.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information. Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, or client information through the Site. Information shared before a signed engagement letter is not covered by any confidentiality agreement with us.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

•             respond to your inquiry, request for proposal, or request for a call;

•             send newsletters or insights you have asked to receive;

•             understand how visitors use the Site and improve it;

•             protect the Site against fraud, spam, and misuse; and

•             comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under state privacy laws, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

How we share information

We share information only as follows:

•             Service providers that help us operate our business, such as our website host and form processor (Squarespace), our email provider (Google Workspace), and our newsletter provider, if any. They may use the information only to provide services to us.

•             Legal requirements, when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.

•             Business transfers, if ATA is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes for which we collected it, such as responding to your inquiry and maintaining a business relationship, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, consistent with New York’s SHIELD Act. These include encrypted connections to the Site, access limited to personnel who need the information, and service providers that are required to protect the information they handle for us. Email and online forms are not a fully secure way to send sensitive information, so please do not submit confidential or client information through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws; we will honor reasonable requests regardless of where you live. To make a request, email info@atariskadvisors.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses:

•             Essential cookies, which our website platform (Squarespace) needs to deliver pages, keep forms working, and protect against spam. These cannot be turned off.

•             Analytics cookies, which help us understand which pages are visited and how visitors find the Site. We use this information only in summary form to improve the Site.

We do not use advertising cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies in the banner, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, although some features may not. The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.

Children

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Visitors outside the United States

ATA is based in New York, and the Site is operated in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed and stored in the United States.

Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
